Eufaula Cotton Seed Oil Company Records (MC 153)


Organizational Note

The Eufaula Cotton Seed Oil Company moved to Eufaula, Alabama into a new building in October of 1899 from another Alabama location. Its president at that time was J. A. Campbell of Chattanooga, Tennessee and C. E. Foley of Eufaula was the Vice President. A later president was Hershel Henry Conner (1880-1948), whose father was also in the cotton seed oil business. It closed sometime before 1990.


Scope and Content

These records consist of several cash journals and other bound financial record books.
