Organizational Note

The U. S. Bicentennial Committee of Columbus, Georgia was formed in the early 1970s to prepare for the national celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the founding of the nation.


Scope and Content

This collection consists of Committee minutes, subcommittee reports, slides of events, and schedules of bicentennial-related activities.
