Sydney Smith Collection (MC 383)

Scope and Content

This collection encompasses the areas of Russell and Lee Counties in Alabama.  It includes the incorporation of Girard, (later renamed Phenix City),  the Marshall Reserve and Broken Arrow.  Numerous geological survey maps of the area are included, in addition to maps of the Georgia side of the Chattahoochee River.
