Mrs. Kenneth F. Murrah Collection (SMC 36)


Scope and Content

Magazine articles dealing with railroads and photographs of Columbus High School graduating class, 1899; postcards (3) probably of the 5th Avenue fire of 1912 in Columbus, Georgia and of the Pine Mountain Valley Project (10). Much of the material concerns the Magruder family, especially Robert Lee Magruder, Sr. (1856-1919), a conductor with the Central of Georgia.

This was a gift of Mrs. Frances J. Murrah (1906-1994) through the Columbus Museum in 1992.
