Nathan Bussey, Sr. Diary (SMC 74)

Biographical Note

Nathan Bussey was born on February 5, 1798 in Lincoln County, Georgia and died on October 4, 1886 in Talbot County, Georgia. He was a farmer in Talbot County. He married Lucy Anne Baugh (1805-1861) in 1821 and they had eight children. In 1863 he married again to Catherine R. Blackman.

Scope and Content

This collection consists of a photocopied typescript of a diary kept by Nathan Bussey, Sr. The typescript was made by his great-granddaughter, Mrs. L. W. Cunningham (Annie Tom Bussey) in 1971. 1870-1873 1 folder (.1 l.f.)
