Established in 1975, the Archives and Special Collections, located on the ground floor of the Simon Schwob Memorial Library, serves as a repository for materials documenting the history of Columbus State University and the city of Columbus as well as the broader Chattahoochee Valley area. Donations to our collections are welcomed, and potential donors should contact the archival staff. Our normal hours have resumed. However, we are now requiring appointments to ensure proper distancing. In addition to distancing protocols, face masks are also required. Access to the Library is currently restricted to card swipe access. If you do not have card swipe access please call us at 706-507-8672 and we will open the door for you.
