Scope and Content

This collection is made up of special editions of the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer published throughout the 1900's to celebrate or commemorate historical events in American and local history. This collection is separated into two series. Series 1 includes Special Editions of the paper and Series 2 includes cover pages of regular editions of historical significance.

Permission to Publish

Permission to publish material from the Newspapers Special Editions must be obtained from the Columbus State University Archives at Columbus State University. Use of the following credit line for publication or exhibit is required:

     This folder contains Parts I – III of the regular edition of the Ledger Enquirer which were published the same dates as the "These Were the Years" editions. They were published May 28, June 25, and July 30, 1961. Also included is the Ledger-Enquirer Magazine for the same publication dates.
