Ballad of the Sad Cafe Playbill (SMC 60)

Scope and Content

Carson McCullers (1917-1967), noted Columbus author, penned The Ballad of the Sad Café in 1951. In 1963 the play was adapted to the stage by Edward Albee. This playbill covers the premier performance of October 30, 1963 at the Martin Beck Theatre.
